  • Participation shares are allocated to pre-designated investors only.
  • Legal portfolio and transaction limits are broader than those of standard investment funds.
    More than 10% of the fund’s portfolio value may consist of securities issued by a single issuer.

Your assets are diversified and managed within a Private Hedge Fund established exclusively for you, under Ak Asset Management’s discretionary management, targeting sustainable returns and tax efficiency within your chosen risk level.

Investment Model

Within the Private Hedge Fund structure founded by Ak Asset Management, only investors you designate may participate. The fund’s investment strategy is managed in accordance with your financial principles and long-term goals.

Investment Strategy

The management of fund assets is carried out within the framework set by the “Investment Strategy Evaluation Committee,” which includes the investor. The committee’s operating principles are defined in the protocol signed with the investor.

How the Private Hedge Fund Establishment Process Works

As the fund founder, Ak Asset Management manages the establishment, regulatory approval, and operational processes of the fund portfolio.

  • Agreement is reached with the investor on the fund’s investment strategy.
  • A preliminary protocol outlining the conditions for fund establishment is prepared.
  • The fund prospectus is created and reviewed with the investor.
  • Applications are submitted to the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for fund approval.
  • Following CMB approval, the fund is issued and launched.
  • After capital is transferred to the fund, asset management begins under the decisions of the Investment Committee.

Fees and Charges

All fees related to fund management are covered within the fund itself. The two main expense categories are the management fee and other operational costs.

The fund management fee is charged on the portfolio value in consideration of the following professional services:

  • Portfolio management in line with the fund’s prospectus and strategy,
  • Internal control and risk management activities,
  • Calculation of the fund’s unit prices,
  • Fund accounting and statutory record-keeping,
  • Preparation of the fund’s statutory books and documentation,
  • Handling prospectus and regulation updates and submission processes,
  • Managing relations with regulatory authorities (CMB, Tax Office, etc.) and audits,
  • Coordination with independent audit firms,
  • Public disclosures and fund reporting via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP),
  • Establishing and maintaining all necessary operational and IT infrastructure.

Other fund-related expenses are covered within the fund in accordance with regulatory limits specified in the prospectus. These include custody fees, trading commissions, independent audit fees, mandatory announcement costs, Capital Markets Board registration fees, Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) charges, and other similar expenses. Some are proportional to the fund’s size, while others are fixed nominal costs.
